Poachers Perch
A cosy countryside retreat with beautiful views
Sleeps 6 • Heated and insulated for all-season escapes • Dog friendly
The world moves fast - but time seems to slow down at Poachers Perch. Nestled in a cosy corner on the outskirts of our farm, this classic cabin is set up for relaxation and enjoys views stretching to Tennyson Down. It's the perfect place to gather with loved ones and enjoy a blissful few days to yourselves.
Planning a getaway for a larger group? Poachers Perch sits adjacent to Poachers Lodge, a spacious family holiday home. Book both together and you'll have room for up to 14 guests, with easy access between the two properties through the adjoining garden.
Views (and memories) that go on forever.
Like its neighbour, Poachers Lodge, the Perch is blessed with breathtaking views. That's why you'll find a private sun deck and shared garden - perfect for soaking up the scenery and spectacular sunsets. Inside, you'll discover warm wood-panelled interiors, comfortable furnishings and a bright open-plan living space with a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and cosy seating.
For you and your favourite people, it's an invitation to slow down, switch off and make some lifelong memories together. Think BBQs on warm, breezy evenings as the kids roam the garden. Trips to our Farm Park and Aqua Park, followed by a well-deserved snooze on the sofa. Or adventures further afield - to beaches, towns and beauty spots - with a cosy haven to return to.
So much to discover onsite
From Poachers Perch, it's a short, scenic walk to our attractions and restaurant. That means farm fun and delicious food is only ever minutes away. There's our Farm Park and Aqua Park, of course, as well as adventurous activities like football & frisbee golf, pickleball and padel tennis. And as for the restaurant, it's one of the Island's best - expect mighty steaks, juicy burgers and all sorts of farm inspired, comfort food.
Alternatively, why not choose one of our luxury hampers and create your own feast? It's a great way to sample some of our favourite locally sourced ingredients and enjoy some quality time together - no gadgets required.
Get out and explore
Here on the Isle of Wight, you can head off in any direction and discover something worth stopping at. Why not follow the Tapnell Trail from your doorstep to the Downs? Or explore Yarmouth, with its cobbled streets, castle and iconic pier? Or, if you're feeling particularly adventurous, hire bikes and see where the roads take you.
