Situated at the heart of Tapnell Farm in a converted Swiss barn, The Cow is our family and dog-friendly bar and restaurant. We use locally sourced produce wherever possible, including seasonal ingredients grown in our own allotment, and are best known for our award-winning burgers, quality steaks and relaxed atmosphere (the vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are just as tasty, too).
Whether you're joining us for lunch, dinner or drinks with friends, you'll find a warm welcome and plenty of choice on the menu. Dine inside the characterful barn, enjoy views from the mezzanine level or make the most of the outdoor seating beside the farm.
Great food, fresh ingredients and a setting full of character all help make The Cow one of the most unique places to eat on the Isle of Wight.
Sundays are made for gathering around the table. Choose from medium rare roast sirloin or a Mushroom & Brie Wellington, served with roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, cauliflower cheese, Yorkshire pudding and plenty of gravy.
It's the perfect way to round off the weekend.
Please note: our last Sunday Roast before the summer break will be served on Sunday 28 June, returning in September.
