Dome Meadow

A uniquely peaceful glamping experience

Sleeps 4 (+2 on sofa bed) • Private bathroom • Hot tubs with domes 1 and 6

The Dome Meadow is a hidden gem. Home to our unique geodesic domes, this tranquil, private spot is tucked away on the outskirts of Tapnell Farm. Inside, the domes are cosy palaces – warm, elegant and especially welcoming after a day's exploring. Outside, the horizon stretches across the Solent and catches sunsets that defy description. For those whose idea of a rural escape involves peace, quiet and a slower, more mindful pace of life, it's perfect.

Open-plan living, where each day is an open book.

Staying in our Dome Meadow means making each day your own. From your cosy, open-plan dome, you can set off on adventures or settle down by the log burner and relish doing nothing much at all. You can light the fire pit and delight in good company and good conversation. You can spot wildlife, watch the kids run free-range or – in domes 1 and 6 – sink into your outdoor tub and watch the stars. Each is curated for comfort and relaxation, with a spacious living and sleeping area, private bathroom and well-equipped kitchenette.

Hours of fun, five minutes away.

Take a five-minute stroll from the Dome Meadow and you'll reach our main activity hub, where you can enjoy long days of free-range, people-powered fun. There's Tapnell Farm Park – a playground of cute animals, soft play, mini golf and more. There's the thrill of our Aqua Park, where the whole family can splash, bounce and burn some energy. And for those who want to try something new, there are fun-filled activities like clay pigeon shooting, football golf and padel tennis.

Hungry? Settle in at The Cow for a farm-reared steak or juicy, home-cooked burger. Or head back with one of our luxury breakfast hampers and dine on your own schedule. However you choose to spend your time, it's always quality time at Tapnell Farm.

Back to Stay

  Luxury Family Glamping

We stayed 4 nights in the dome meadow in the most beautiful dome tent. On arrival the accommodation was spotless and so well presented with everything we needed for our stay. The dome was heated with a Dyson heater so we had a lovely warm welcome. The fridge was stocked with fresh milk and cold water, the fires were ready to be lit and all our beds were being warmed by electric blankets ready for the evening. The farm park was a 5 minute walk across the field, past the lambs and llama!! I have already recommended our stay to friends and we hope to be returning soon!!

Great venue for a weekend break

Booked a long weekend break for the whole family + dog as a surprise 70th birthday treat for my wife. We thoroughly enjoyed it, the cabin style accommodation was really nice and for a group of 6 adults, 2 toddlers and a dog it did not seem cramped at all. The on site attractions were just right for the kiddies and we didn't have to go off site for anything, plenty to see and do. Heartily recommend it for people of all ages.
