Things to do on the farm.

Acres upon acres of people-powered fun.

One of the things our visitors love most about Tapnell is that there's so much to do right here on the farm. From delicious, locally sourced food to activities on lake and land, there's always a good reason to stick around and see what's next. Here are some highlights.

Participants run across a blue inflatable water obstacle course with splashing water under a bright sky

Aqua Park.

The only outdoor Aqua Park on the Isle of Wight.

In 2020, we made a splash when we opened the Isle of Wight's first and only outdoor Aqua Park. Today, this seasonal attraction remains just as fun and just as popular. Suitable for confident swimmers aged seven and up, it's full of inflatable obstacles to climb up, slide down and bounce around. You'll splash, you'll laugh and you'll get very wet – but that's all part of the fun.

Football and Frisbee Golf.

A kickabout with a difference.

If you can kick a ball or throw a Frisbee, you're all set to have a go at these all-ages outdoor activities. The rules are simple. As you make your way around 18 challenging holes, your aim is to sink your ball or Frisbee in as few goes as possible. It's active, it's enjoyable and it's a great excuse to enjoy some fresh Island air – especially with those far-flung countryside views.

Padel Tennis and Pickleball.

Two fast-paced racket sports that anyone can pick up and play.

Padel and pickleball might not be Olympic sports (yet), but they're the gold standard for pick-up-and-play fun. Padel is one of the world's fastest-growing sports – an uptempo blend of tennis and squash. Pickleball, meanwhile, is like a full-sized version of table tennis – and just as easy to learn. We've got both right here on the farm, so it's the perfect chance to give them a go.

The Wight Herd.

The first ever 'art herd'.

The Wight Herd is a celebration of Tapnell's heritage as a dairy farm, as well as the colour and character of our vibrant Island home. We call it the first-ever 'art herd' – a cast of life-sized model cows, each painted in colourful designs that reflect local events, businesses and people. You'll find them outside of our on-site restaurant, The Cow. Why not take a wander and choose a favourite?
